I'm trying to avoid completely rebuilding the machines, but it looks bad. The bottom line is to de-install the driver SW (and maybe disk repair) properly BEFORE another insallation wants to be done. Luckily, the 1st thing I tried printed my .pdf file!Here's thelink:http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107990Seems the cups temp file gets clogged (after 5 years of printing!!);if the first line in Terminal returns an error message, Drivers for these thing are notioriously buggy. I agree that multiple page PDFs are only a problem with certain printers but that doesn't mean it's the printers' fault.
It will remove all traces of all printers, but it will usually get rid anything funky with printing.
