Bootmagic resides in the MBR so you'l have to do an fdisk /mbr ,but be warned there are several instances where you do not want to run fdisk /mbr . On Bootup I get the message "Error finding Btmagic.img - Run bootMagic install" How do I get rid of this? I read ur post and see the file should be bigger? UK. Now I suggest you to follow remaining steps given in my previous mail and check for the issue. The reason being if the OS where BM is installed for some reason won't boot, and it's set to boot to that OS, you won't be able to override the BM Boot up with the BootMagic Rescue diskette. 2.
