Looking at the db through PhpMyAdmim I see that in fact it was not created properly as there are no tables in the new db. empty ( $PHP_SELF ) && preg_match ( "/\/includes\//", $PHP_SELF ) ) { die ( "You can't access this file directly!" ); } // Do a sanity check. Trying the above fix does not fix it and produces the same result. if ( empty ( $PHP_AUTH_USER ) ) $session_not_found = true; else $login = $PHP_AUTH_USER; } elseif ( substr($user_inc,0,9) == 'user-app-' ) { // Use another application's authentication if (! $login = One problem that I saw was a minor difference though as line 568 from /webcalendar/includes/classes/WebCalendar.class seems to be different from your example above as mine is missing the "{" as seen at the point app-user-drupal.php is included WebCalendar doesn't yet know about its own settings.

One question though, does drupal session ID ever change? Now if I could get Drupal with LDAP and Webcalendar working, I would be a happy man. empty ( $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] ) ) { 00004 $PHP_SELF = $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; 00005 } 00006 if ( ! Initially, I had just copied and pasted yours but I was getting a function error. You have now finished creating the WebCalendar database tables. The 'Public Access' calendar is what is automatically served up to anonymous users, from WebCalendar's perspective.

I must confess limited Drupal knowledge so my efforts are still a hack. this page I didn't realise at first that '-' character meant to remove the line and '+" meant to add (stupid mistake, I know). However, it has been about 20 mins now... I will remove it from my example above.

Doug ------------------------------------------------ Issues as I see them: 1) Drupal uses session_name which is a MD5 hash of the base drupal URL not PHPSESSID as used in WebCalendar integration 5.x-1.0-beta1. I guess I'll leave it be for a while and try again much later. WebCalendar does not escape the login name in // SQL requests. http://invictanetworks.net/error-finding/error-finding-webcalendar.html After installing the tables the WebCalendar started working fine. Is there any progress on the resolution for this? Does anybody have any idea why the login itself isn't working, or where I could check the code to see what is going on? Hard coding the session_name does work but there must be a way to get to this as a variable. All is peachy.
