would you go with the hitachi since it's 6MBG/s over the toshiba's 3MB/s? I have no idea what the heck is wrong now, Im probably going to have to just get a new one all together now. I tried to retry boot from disc again since that was my only option besides the tests in the BIOS .

What are the names of them? the file is "HP_SSRD_LOG.SRD" in the flash drive, and I can't open. Have you tested the ram or done a hard drive diagnostic. Hiss!
