This error may be caused by a corrupt file system, which would prevent bootcfg from successfully scanning. Is it XP home, XP pro, or OEM and which service pack is it using? Is fixmbr safe? here is my problem..

That's the goal here. Apparently I only have access to F2 and F12. Now this is alot of information but its step by step instructions on how to perform these proceedures.
